Does it ever feel like cheating if you record yourself and transcribe that versus typing it out. Sometimes my creative juices flow MUCH better when I just open my mouth and speak out loud.

I do that all the time…and just edit it after. Sometimes I have to just leave the office when I have an idea to walk and talk to Google notes on my phone, then I send it to word and edit. Not cheating at all!

This is great info. I’m about 70% thru the writing of my first book and kinda fell off my focus. Hopefully this can help me get back on task.

Favorite thing: Dump & Lump… then organizing into logical groups to start to form sections/chapters. Great idea!
