Not many people will admit it, but the best way to succeed in life and in business is to be selfish….
Let me explain.
The term selfish is mostly used to negatively describe someone and their lack of consideration for others, but when you are just getting started as a business owner or entrepreneur, you need to be selfish. In this new presentation that I shared during our Mastermind In Paradise, I explain why it’s a great idea to actually put you and your business first.

Thanks Russel for this.
I have realised over time that being selfish about my goals has got me to where I am.
Like not being distracted by women who really want to be in a Relationship with me.
I bluntly told them that I am not going to have time for them, because all my time will go into building my online business.
Yeah, I am being selfish, but then I am protecting them from heartbreak.
Thanks for this once again.
Maybe in many cases selfISH is equal to self WORTH?
That’s a great way to look at it!!
@Russell Brunson – ClickFunnels what’s the old saying? Perception is reality even if it’s not reality in actuality! Great video brother, keep ’em comin.
Appreciate this Russel – We need to give ourselves permission to invest the effort to achieve greatness.
That’s when the game changes for us…
One of the biggest changes I’ve made this year is investing more into myself. Eating a healthy diet that before, I had deemed to be too expensive, paying for the expensive gym pass because it’s open 24 hours, and buying higher-quality items because they increase my effectiveness…
And today, I’m at my healthiest and most motivated to change the world.
This is extremely powerful, especially the Michael Jordan reference really drove it home for me. Even though people didn’t like how intense he was in the beginning when he played, he ended up becoming arguably the greatest basketball player ever. I almost wonder if this is kind of relates to the saying “Nice guys finish last”? Because if you’re always just trying to make everyone like you by giving and giving instead of “selfishly” focusing on creating, you’re not going to make it as far as someone who focused on themselves and their business more at the beginning. You’re right though, definitely a difficult subject to talk about.
I really appreciate these videos
