I think Napoleon Hill has done a fantastic job at creating a starter guide. I think there are a few pieces missing. IMO the starting point is wrong for people who are lost. Its fine for people who have chosen a future. The majority have not. So to address that you correct the system. The system being the body and the mind. By shifting focus away from problem areas in your life and only focusing on your mind and body getting healthier. The baby steps of getting healthier both physically and mentally create small successes and boost confidence. Riding on those your mind will eventually see a different future. You don’t have to work on this it will happen naturally. from there you will get your goal. I wrote a book on this. Taught a course on it. Used it to become an Ultra runner, an ironman Triathlete and so on.

That was awesome information! Thank you! It is interesting to me that Hill put failure towards the top of the ladder. Even after you have all the lower rungs, failure is likely to come but it is just part of the process. It may be discouraging when you put in all the work to meet with failure but when you push through that you are just a few steps from success!

I had not seen the 1921 edition of Magic Ladder of Success; I do have a copy of the 1930 edition. It was signed by Nap and endorsed to his Son Blair. Appraised at $100,000, so your $10,000 purchase was a good buy. Your unsigned copy of the 1930 edition is worth about $40,000. Anyway, I am pleased at your understanding and edification of Nap Hill’s work. Nap figured it out! JBH
